Bristol, Bourbon and Brecon

A week away was much needed so to Clifton we went. A lovely time was had; Bristol museum and gallery, the Arnofini with an interesting, disturbing Paula Rego exhibit, wonderful fish restaurant, Bristol Zoo, the observatory and camera obscura and the suspension bridge, all in three days. We also bought an interesting bourbon style whiskey to take to friends in Wales for the weekend where we were thoroughly indulged, wined and dined. During this time we visited Brecon and bought a 1790s Swansea Valley lowboy for the bedroom and had a splendid lunch. I also found a really nice gallery in the high street (Ardent Gallery) and gave them my card so ... (it's hard to type with crossed fingers!!).

We got home today just in time for Hotwalls tomorrow.
